Age Eligibility & Legal Capacity – Thrifter

Thrifter is intended for individuals who are at least 13 years old. By accessing or using the platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under applicable law.

Users between the ages of 13 and 17 may use Thrifter only under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian agrees to be fully responsible for all activity conducted by the minor, including but not limited to submitting binding offers, completing purchases, payment obligations, disputes, and compliance with platform rules.

All offers submitted on Thrifter are binding. By submitting an offer or completing a transaction, users acknowledge and agree that they are entering into a legally binding agreement.

To create a seller account and receive payments through Stripe, users must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. During onboarding, sellers represent and warrant that they meet these eligibility requirements.

Thrifter reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or restrict accounts that misrepresent age or fail to meet eligibility requirements.

Users are responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding online commerce and age restrictions.
